Mt Ararat Simmentals was established by John Leek in Nar Nar Goon, Victoria.

To form the basis of our Simmental Stud we purchased some of the best females available in Australia. With these females, and using a combination of Natural Matings, Artificial Insemination and Embryo Transfers and using the best possible bulls, we have continually upgraded to the herd we have today.
